Description of the flag

According to the party status, "the emblem of the party is a red star that combines all workers of the world and guides the proletarians. The flag of the party is a yellow star on a red background."
The official flag of the party has the star pointing upwards.

A flag seen in Munich during the 1st May 2002 demonstrations had the star pointing to the hoist instead of upwards.
